bloggin

I read some stuff recently where it's no kosher to take all your content from somewhere else. Sounds good t ome, I can live by that. So here's my favorite modern comic strip, but edited so I don't take the glory.

the full link so you can laugh like I do

Fits into my feelings about ospirg/greenpeace/children's miracle grow network.

I'm thinking about printing this strip and handing out to the next kid that tries to talk to me.

No Sectionals writeup?

I didn't know anyone even read this anymore. I could probably write something up, but it would be a post born of depression and anxiety instead of humor and mirth.

Good ol' American hyper-capitalism. We are taught to commodify anything and everything of any economic, political, cultural, or even emotional value. Hence we have the commodification of altruism. People can separate themselves from the inequities and inadequacies by just giving some money and assuming they did something nice. Is this good in terms of efficiency or do people get more complacent due to societal segregation of thoughts/issues/agnedas?
