How to Write Comedy Pt1

The wrong way to do it is to put the punchline first, then set up the joke.

The right way is to write something funny.

Here's an example.

Cool Whip is like Whipped Cream just with more sugar and it's shitty.
Miracle Whip is like mayonnaise just with more sugar and it's shitty.
"Whip it" is like the original "Rollerball" just with more Ellen Paige and it's shitty.
