I had a very funny quip lined up

Then I asked my boss something, and forgot it. It was very funny to me, but is now lost to the sands of time. Knowing me and my sense of humor, it probably involved me pretending to not know some sort of basic knowledge of something and then inferring something else based on it that showed some insight. That's about all I know how to do, other than fart jokes and putdowns.
