Your Friday is Important

There's been a lot of talk in town about who's the better statue guy.
Mr.Statue:

or

Umbrella Man:

But the real question on everyone's mind is,

Who the hell is this guy?

and why did he move to Portland?

"What is this? You're going to wear the shirt of the band you're going to see? Don't be that guy."

PCU is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. Probably the longest Ultimate scene in any real movie. Jeremy Piven being Jeremy Piven (was I one of the first to appreciate him for his Piven-ness?). Only Animal House matches it for memorable quotes in a college film. Some quotes from the womynists:

"Yeah, cock-man-oppressor!"
"You participated in a phallis naming?"
"Stop the penis party!"
"We're not interested in your penis!"

More funny stuff here:

I haven't seen the umbrella guy, but who carries an umbrella in Oregon anyway? We wear jackets.

This is another case of me being to clever for my own good.

MrStatue is a man.
Umbrella man is a statue.
Gutter is from 1993, so is the new guy in Portland. Cryogenically frozen to come here and blow my mind.

I'm proud of this post for some reason, and don't want to bump it down just yet. Someone else should put it out of its misery.

Piven's peak...Judgement Night! All-star cast: Emilio Sheen, CuGoods, Pivs, Dorff on Blade, Dennis Leary, EVERLAST, and Peter Greene (the other white Irish dude that always plays a baddie).
Interestingly enough...Pivs plays the same character as always, a self-absorbed weasel dick. Except there is an evolution of the character. At least in Judgement Night his character dies because of the inherent weakness in this character architype.

dorff on blade is funny.
you couldn't have thought that up yourself.

quick trivia: The Piven has been friends with Cusack since elementary school. He has been friends with a toupee since high school.

I am the luckiest of all of you, b/c I work with a structural engineer who looks and talks like The Piven.

How soon you forget how clever I am...I've gotten punnier.
I guess the Cusack connection explains Pivs in Gross Pointe Blank, again playing the exact same character.

They are also alumni of the Piven Theatre Workshop (http://www.piventheatre.org/workshop/alumni.html) founded by Piven's parents. They've been in 10 movies together (http://www.imdb.com/JointVentures).

Trivia: Cusack's been in a couple of notable movies with another PTW alumnus, Lili Taylor (Say Anthing & it's companion, High Fidelity). And of course 12 movies with his sister.

The way the light and shadow are focusing on the crotch makes the guy with the balls look like he has a big chub. Yes, he is creepy.

Say Anything sucks. Better Off Dead is a masterpiece.

The Zags beat UNC this evening.

I have a buzz off of 3 beers because I don't drink that much anymore. Last call at 12:45 sucks when you get off of work at 12:00.

Who made out with who at the pink party?

I once again hate the Saints...... except for Brees, he's my new man crush..... and I'm not talking about the Brees that looks like he takes it up the butt and plays ultimate.

I have friend named River and she's a hippie.
