nothing much and lunch

I didn't want to look at Kyle's musings on numbers and sex and architecture anymore. No offense ;) So moving on.....

So this afternoon's topic is crappy lunches. You know, you don't want to go out, save some bucks. But you also don't really have anything at home. So you grab some stuff and take it to work and call it lunch. It sucks, and ends up leaving you totally unsatisfied for the rest of the day.

Today mine was almond butter and jelly sandwich, too ripe banana (yuck), applesauce, and some trail mix. Let's hear your crappy lunch stories!

ooh, I like that first option. Reminds me of a yummy appetizer I once had -- I recommend your suggested concoction on crackers w/ a little avocado, or perhaps served over some leafy greens.

Oh, wait, this isn't a food blog...which by the way are funny, and sometimes intersting. Maybe we should start taking pictures of our lunches and posting them.

I ate vegan last night. It was very healthy, and increased my life expectancy. I will now head out for lunch to get a thai burrito cheeseburge soup to put the universe back in balance.

I had pizza with Mimi and T-Unit last night at the Flying Pie Pizzeria. That's what I have for lunch, too. We had sausage and mushroom, and they basically kill a whole cow to make an 18" pizza. They don't cheat you! Maybe I'm doing my part to fatten myself up in honor of the late Kirby Puckett. Tonight I will have a veggie chik pattie and a smoothie to do my part to establish some equilibrium to my universe.

When I pack my lunch (most of the time) it is always the same: Yogurt, PBNJ Sandwich (peanut butter, nutella, jam), some sort of chip snack, carrots, and fruit.

Today I had chicken noodle soup and salad.

today, because I was out and about with meetings, I had a laughing planet burrito.

when I bring my lunch its usually leftover from dinner the night before... or its the crackers that I keep in my desk for when I need crunchy salty goodness.

Or I go home and find something... often that still means crackers, but with cheese.

oooh, i also like the peanut butter, nutella, jam! Good idea T-Unit.

Today I had penne pasta tossed w/ spinach and cherry tomotoes, and honey mustard dressing. MUCH better than yesterday, but stil a made-from-home concoction.

Why don't you just beat your wife to honor him? Go for the gusto. Oh...forgot, he was good at baseball.
