What happened to Mase?

Diddy can't sleep cuz he is in love with his work. I saw a couple minutes of some show where people compete to be Sean Combs' assistant. In the show, Mr. Combs butchers the entire meaning of a common cliche.

The cliche: You can't see the forest through the trees.

With this, there is an assumption in the statement that it is desirable to see the forest...there is some value for the observer in seeing the forest.

Mr. Combs' version: If you can't see the forest through the trees, then you better cut down those fu*kin' trees.

It is obvious that he does not understand the meaning of the saying, that observing the forest has nothing to do with the physicality of what is being observed, but the perspective/focus of the observer. As you all know...the trees are the forest and you destroy the value of that object! This is an easy analysis and not much discussion to be had. But you have to think, what a badass to make a bold statement that he is so ignorant of his own ignorance.
