Adam brought a good point earlier in the comments. Of course I forgot what it was, but it made me think of a greater point. On one hand you got crimes, on the other hand you got morals. Take my list of “hypothetical” acts below, copy and paste them into the comments, and arrange them from most heinous to least in order of moral outrage that the act fills you with.

-BUILDING A NUCLEAR REACTOR IN YOUR GARAGE
-INTENTIONALLY KILLING A SQUIRREL
-DRIVING AFTER 3 BEERS
-HOOKING UP WITH A FAT GIRL YOU WILL NEVER TALK TO AGAIN
-MAKING FUN OF OLD PEOPLE TO THEIR FACE ENOUGH TO MAKE THEM CRY
-STEALING MONEY FROM RETARDED PEOPLE
-FIXING PROFESSIONAL SPORTING EVENTS IN ORDER TO GAMBLE ON THEM LEGALLY AND PAYING TAXES ON YOUR WINNINGS
